The 38mm deep stretchers give a modern 3D look to even the simplest colour treatment. Due to rear fixing no tacks or staples are visible on the side edges and the canvas is triple primed to accept acrylic or oil paints without sagging or stretching. Artists quality stretched cotton canvas. Heavier weight superior quality cloth. 7 oz. cotton duck. Medium grain surface. Ideal for all techniques, including heavy paint applications. Ideal for use with oil (including water mixable), acrylic, and alkyd colour. Triple coated with acid free sizing and two coats of highly pigmented acrylic primer formulated by Winsor & Newton. Balanced absorbency and tooth prevents sinking of oil colours and improves adhesion. Professional frame construction with kiln-dried bevelled stretcher bars.
Stretched by hand for best tension and tailored corners. Ample canvas on the back for re-stretching. Ideal for home decoration solutions. Crossbars are fitted and traditional corner wedges are provided with the larger sizes to allow for final canvas tensioning. Each canvas is individually shrink wrapped.
