Together, Derwent pastel pencils offer a well-rounded palette of full strength and natural tints, all of them carefully formulated to ensure maximum tonal depth and range. Derwent Pastel Pencils are ideal for mixing and blending, the wood casing allows you to control the behaviour of the pastel perfectly. You can use traditional drawing techniques, yet capture all the subtle qualities of conventional pastels. Wooden case filled with treasures

The product is professionally put together in a wonderful wooden case. The pastel pencils are safely housed in their box in wonderful drawers with the added advantage of a magnetic edge at the back so no chance of them slipping out.I love it and the colours are beautiful and blendable.Looking forward to many hours of creativity.

I bought this for my husband who is an amateur artist.. he has just used this product to do a large pastel drawing of a tiger and he thinks it is the best pastels he has ever used... A lot easier to use than pastel blocks and u can be more accurate in it's application...

At last a pastel pencil that will sharpen with a normal pencil sharpener. In the past I have found that I could only sharpen pastel pencils with a craft knife. The range of 48 colours is real value for the price. Also the magnetic catches on the draws stops them opening while in transit. Ideal for precise line and blending makes these a must for anyone who enjoys painting in pastel
